Thoreau Chapter will be accepting requests from Voter Registered members for a new house from Tuesday, March 28, 2023 1:00 pm to Thursday, March 30, 2023 to 4:30 pm for the first 10 families that submit their request.
Bring the following documents/records to apply for assistance:
* Identification Card
* Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB)
* Proof of Chapter Voter Registration
* Approved home site/residential lease (with Navajo Nation environmental Compliance Forms)
* Doctor’s Statement (if any)
The 10 applications will be entered by Thoreau Chapter Administration into the NN Division of Community
Development (DCD) CHID-ARPA Online Housing Application Portal.
Be informed not all 10 applicants requesting for a new house will be assisted, it will be based on availability of ARPA Funds.
DCD will be assessing the applications to determine who will be assisted with new house.
