Lead Maintenance Position – Temporary PEP Employment
Open date: 1/4/2023 8:00 a.m. Closing date: 1/18/2023 5:00 p.m. Employment applications are available at the Coyote Canyon Chapter House.
Work Days and Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain Chapter Buildings for Maintenance/Operation
- Maintain the Chapter Complex Ground Maintenance Complete daily Custodial Duties
- Assist with providing essential services (i.e. Trash, Wood, and Water, etc.)
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skilled, and Ability:
- Knowledge of safety and health protocols in building maintenance.
- Skilled in operating power tools and other hand tools.
- Ability to follow oral and written communication. Written and Oral Communication
- Understand both Navajo and English languages
- Excellent Customer Services skills
Other Requirements:
- Educational Credentials (High School Diploma; GED, and other verification of educational credentials)
- Voter’s registration
- Certificate of Indian Blood
- Social Security Card
- Valid State Driver’s License or Identification Card

Office Assistant Position – Temporary PEP Employment
Open date: 1/4/2023 8:00 a.m. Closing date: 1/18/2023 5:00 p.m. Employment applications are available at the Coyote Canyon Chapter House.
Work Days and Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone calls and take messages and/or direct calls to appropriate personnel. Greets visitors.
- Responds to questions from the general community members/public.
- Directs people to appropriate resources.
- Receives, log and stamps incoming mail, documents, etc.
- Sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintains electronic and/or hard copy of files.
- Prepares photocopies or facsimiles.
- Follows up on processes or items as needed for Chapter.
- Prepares work orders, supply requisitions and related documents.
- Obtains appropriate signatures; monitors, orders and maintains office supplies, and maintains inventory.
- Receives cash revenues, prepares receipts and records.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Computer Operation/Software
- Filing/Record Keeping
- Office equipment (copier, fax, telephone, etc.)
- Written and Oral Communication
- Understand both Navajo and English languages
