Repairs In Progress Due to Broken Water Pipe
at the Northern Navajo Medical Center
Shiprock, NM – The Northern Navajo Medical Center experienced flooding in three areas within the hospital due to a broken water pipe. The areas affected are the Shandiin Clinic, Pediatric Ward, and Management Information Systems Office.
The clinics scheduled at the Shandiin Clinic this afternoon were moved to the Yucca Clinic. The inpatients on the Pediatric Unit were moved to other rooms on the Unit.
The water pipe is currently being replaced and will be repaired by the end of the day. All clinics and services will resume as normal on Thursday, January 19, 2023.
